Founder of Wilson Fertility Consulting and Creator of The Surrogacy Project
With over 18 years of experience in the fertility and surrogacy field, I’ve guided thousands of individuals and families through one of the most personal journeys of their lives. My work has spanned every corner of this world; from five years at a leading IVF clinic supporting patients focused on egg freezing and IVF, to a decade overseeing thousands of surrogacy journeys as the department director in Southern California.
My desire to help create families also led me to donate my eggs, giving me a deeply personal understanding of third-party reproduction from the inside out. I know what it’s like to sit on both sides of the process, and that insight shapes everything I do.

Marlena began her career in IVF coordination in 1998 and has been dedicated to the fertility field ever since. Over the past two decades, she has guided countless patients and families through the complexities of treatment, bringing a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and insight to every interaction. Her background includes hands-on experience in clinic coordination, patient education, and journey support, making her a trusted resource for individuals navigating fertility preservation, IVF, egg donation, and surrogacy.
Like me, Marlena believes in honest, transparent guidance and in meeting each family exactly where they are. Her long-standing commitment to reproductive medicine, paired with her compassionate approach, ensures that every client feels supported, informed, and cared for at every step of their journey.
